Oktober 2011 - It was great on the Dutch Design Week 2011
De Dutch Design Week 2011 was more than great!! About 180.000 people visited the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven. Beautifull design and ideas were exhibited on more than 85 locations. DesignKaas was exhibited in the Kolkgebouw and at the AMac Aplpe store. We got a lot of nice reactions with DesignKaas (on the look & the taste:-), there was nice publicity and there are new options for interesing exhititions abroad.

Oktober 2011- DesignKaas in book "Boxed and Labelled Two!" - Gestalten
Dutch Design Cheese is mentioned in the book Boxed & Labelled Two! by Gestalten. Also famous for Gestalten TV. "Boxed and Labelled Two!" is a compelling exploration of the power of state-of-the-art packaging design today and documents its main strategic directions—all of which address a longing for “truthfulness.” The book is also available on Amazon.
DesignKaas on Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven from 22nd - 30th of October 2011
We are so proud to announce that we were sellected for the official program of the the tenth edition of the Dutch Design Week (DDW) in Eindhoven. DDW presents unparalleled ideas, individualistic works and insightful solutions devised by innovative designers. More than 1,500 designers display their work ranging from industrial design, spatial design, and graphic design to textiles, sustainable design and design management & trends. Design in all its disciplines and aspects. Keep you informed!
22nd of July 2011: Designkaas nominee for Prestigious Designpreis Deutschland 2012
Last week we received an official letter that we have been nominated for the German Design Award by the German Design Council. Only already awarded designs are selected for nomination. So we are very honoured being nominated in this design champions league.
4 april 2011: Vernissage and opening Red Dot in Basel Switserland
On April 4th was the vernissage and opening of the Red Dot Communication Design on Tour in Basel Switserland. About 500 people attended the special program. The exhibition is from 5–27 April 2011.
April 2011: Dutch Design Cheese will be on Red Dot exposition in Basel Switserland
I just got the news that Dutch Design Cheese (DesignKaas) will be exclusively be on display in the Red Dot tour in Basel, Switserland. From 5 to 27 April 2011, the School of Design in Basel will be the venue for the exhibition «Design Value – Design Values. Awarded communication design 2010/2011». Visitors are invited to discuss and exchange ideas about the fascinating objects on display with any of the design experts who will attend the festive opening reception and be on site during the entire exhibition.
Jan 2011: DesignKaas on Business Ducumentary TV Utrecht
Because we won the `Made in Amersfoort Award` TVUtrecht has made a small documentary about Dutch Design Cheese in their show `BV Utrecht in de prijzen`. The documentary shows how the cheeses are made by hand. Unfortunately for foreigners... it is only Dutch Spoken.

Jan 2011: DesignKaas in promotion movie about Creative Amsterdam
The Amsterdam Metropolitan Area, is the fifth biggest creative metropolis in the world. They have launched their own promotion movie and DesignKaas is mentioned next to e.g. Amsterdam International Fashion Week, Tom Klaassen, Pastoe, and Kunsthal KADE in Amersfoort. Next to that they launched a creative portal were you can search for suppliers and browse their portfolios.
8 December 2010: DesignKaas in Red Dot Design Museum in Essen
Last week I received the Red Dot Design Award on the Red Dot Gala in Essen (Germany). It was great! The Dutch Design Cheeses are now exposed for 3 months in the Red Dot Design Museum, and the Design Cheeses are shown on the Red Dot website.
August 2010: DesignKaas wins Red Dot Award Communication Design 2010
I am very pleased to anounce that DesignKaas has won a Red Dot Award. With more than 12,000 submissions from more than 60 countries, the international “red dot design award” is the largest and most renowned design competition in the world.
22 june 2010: DesignKaas wins `Made in Amersfoort Award`
In June DesignKaas won the `Made in Amersfoort Award` an award presented by Amersfoort Creative City
