Dutch Cheese with good taste and good looks!

These days, design is as important as the actual product itself, even with food. The Dutch are famous for their cheese, and getting more famous for their design, such that  Marinde van Leeuwen, a designer of food and other things, decided to combine Dutch Design and Cheese to create Dutch Design Cheese  (in Dutch, "DesignKaas").

So the famous Dutch Gouda baby cheeses can now be ordered in a fancy designer jacket. The design cheeses are handmade in ‘Jongenhoeve’, a farm in Bergambacht, a small village close to Gouda.

For companies, it is also possible to order a specially designed cheese with the company’s own logo.

DesignKaas pays fair prices to its farmer suppliers and donates 10% of its profits to good causes. Dutch Design Cheese supports Dutch foundations which work for the preservation of typical Dutch landscape components as dikes and windmills, as well as the propagation of typical Dutch handicrafts.
